"What has the world come to?" doesn't quite cover it. What a cliche, that everyone wants more. What we have is never enough to satisfy the greed though we have more than we deserve and much more than we'll ever need. It's insane to think the people of America have stopped stopping stopped pausing, no, even slowing down to think about what's happening at the heart of us- not just corruption not just corporate greed. The phrases we hear too often are losing power, they're overused. What's at the core of it is the wall between the people and the world and the people and their people. Everything is shattered, all disconnected split cut separated and the image is distorted through this broken lens. There's a rally that asks us to get up and fight and to save the country. Get up and preserve each right but people, we've already lost it. We lost it when we stopped believing in our own race. We lost our liberty when we became slaves to our own demands. We lost our lives fighting wars against every new idea, trying to shoot it down. We lost our hope, our happiness, Hell we're not even pursuing it when we reach out for that goal that "American Dream" that no longer exists. It's cheap. It means nothing because we brought it down to nothing. The priorities are fucked- Make the money first look sharp look like you've got it all. Behind the scenes, expose everything. That's not what you really wanted right? That's not... the point.

Wow that's really powerful. But along the lines of what I've been thinking lately. Money makes this world turn and has pretty much fucked us over.

Haha, for sure. That's exactly ( in the most to the point way) what I mean.

Well I'm glad I got close to what you meant. But it really came through in what you wrote.
